HSPGS-8 Sweet Potato Sorting Machine

HSPGS-8 Sweet Potato Sorting Machine can sort 8-10 tons Sweet Potato to designed sizes automaticlly , the machine is stainless steel.

The entire machine is fabricated from food-grade stainless steel, complying with hygiene standards for fruit and vegetable processing. It resists corrosion from sediment and water stains, allowing sweet potatoes with mud after washing to be directly fed into the machine. The smooth surface is easy to flush and clean, eliminating risks of rust contaminating produce. The full frame is fitted with silent lockable universal casters, requiring no fixed foundation, so the unit can be freely moved and repositioned in workshops.

Sectional Structure & Functions

(1) Left Feeding & Elevating Section

Large inclined feed hopper allows crate dumping without spillage. The baffle-equipped anti-slip conveyor transports tubers steadily to avoid sliding backward. The detachable frame can connect washing and air-drying production lines flexibly.

(2) Middle Buffer Spreading Platform

The flat green conveyor separates piled tubers into single layers, avoiding jams and grading errors.

(3) Core Roller Grading Main Unit

It grades tubers by diameter through rollers with progressively widening gaps:

① Adjustable stainless steel roller set

Parallel rollers rotate synchronously. Small tubers fall through narrow front gaps first, while larger ones move backward for sorting. Smooth, edgeless rollers protect tuber skin and maintain good commercial appearance.

② 4 independent discharge outlets (Marked 1/2/3/4)

Four green outlet conveyors match stainless steel receiving troughs for turnover crates:

Outlet 1: Mini tubers (for online roasted sweet potatoes)

Outlet 2: Small-medium tubers (supermarket retail)

Outlet 3: Standard premium honey sweet potatoes (main commercial grade)

Outlet 4: Large tubers (raw material for starch and dicing processing)

Red side stoppers prevent tubers from falling off the tracks.

③ Adjustable gap design

Roller spacing can be manually tuned to fit honey sweet potatoes, purple sweet potatoes, potatoes, citrus and other oval & round fruits/vegetables.

(4) Electric Control Cabinet

Equipped with start-stop switches and speed knobs to adjust the elevator and roller speed separately for anti-jam feeding. Single-person operation, low power consumption and easy maintenance.
