The automatic HZSB-55 Silage Baler and Wrapper is an all-in-one farm forage processing machine that completes straw squeezing, high-density baling and airtight film wrapping in one continuous process. It is a dual-functional agricultural equipment designed for modern livestock farms, capable of producing fermented silage bales from fresh moist forage and baling dry hay for regular storage.

Turning crop waste into high-value livestock feed, this machine solves the seasonal shortage of forage, realizes long-term feed preservation, and greatly reduces feeding costs. It is the ideal silage preparation equipment for cattle, sheep and other ruminant livestock breeding.

Core Working Principle (Silage vs Hay Mode)

Two working modes, one machine dual-purpose (core selling point)

Silage Mode (Fermented Feed): Process fresh, high-moisture crop stalks and forage. After high-compression baling and fully airtight wrapping, the internal environment isolates oxygen, prompting lactic acid bacteria to complete sufficient anaerobic fermentation. The finished bales are nutrient-rich sour silage that can be stored for a long time.
Dry Hay Mode (Regular Forage): Bale fully dried low-moisture hay and straw. No fermentation occurs. Wrapping only provides waterproof, dustproof and moisture-proof protection for long-distance transportation and dry storage.

Note: Dry hay bales are not silage. Silage strictly relies on airtight fermentation of fresh moist forage.

Forage Nutrition Advantages (Silage Fermentation Effect)

Thanks to the machine’s high compaction density and perfect airtight performance, lactic acid bacteria ferment fully and stably, greatly optimizing the feed nutrition structure compared with traditional dry hay:
