To control weeds during growing, and improve growing rate, the HUAYO Sweet Potato Transplanter combines Rotary Cultivator, Transplanter, Plasti film cover, Watering systerm in one.

Sweet Potato are deep rooted plant, which is suitable to plant in deep cultivated , loosed soil.

The soil for planting sweet potatoes should have a deep soil layer, a loose structure, rich organic matter content, good drainage and ventilation, and large soil porosity to meet the oxygen requirements for potato expansion.

So we can make 30cm planting ridge with Rotary Cultivator before the transplanter.

When transplanting sweet potatoes, the method of insertion plays a crucial role in determining the yield. Many farmers traditionally insert seedlings into the soil without a specific technique, but adopting a more strategic approach can lead to significantly better results.

Using the oblique insertion method, where seedlings are inserted into the soil at an angle of 20-30 degrees, is highly effective. By positioning the seedlings at this angle, typically with 3 nodes inserted into the soil, more nodes develop underground. Each node has the potential to produce sweet potatoes, leading to a higher yield compared to the straight insertion method. This technique enhances the growth of multiple sweet potatoes per plant, resulting in a more bountiful harvest. Employing this method can substantially increase the number of sweet potatoes produced per plant, contributing to overall higher yields.
