The basic design of the Lettuce Transplanter includes a frame that is mounted on wheels, a planting mechanism, and a conveyor belt. The frame provides support for the other components of the machine and allows it to be moved through the field. The planting mechanism is used to pick up the seedlings from the nursery bed and place them into the ground at the desired spacing. The conveyor belt moves the seedlings from the nursery bed to the planting mechanism.

The operation of Lettuce Transplanter begins with the preparation of the field. The soil must be tilled and leveled to create a smooth surface for planting. Once the field is ready, the transplanter is positioned at the starting point of the first row. The operator then starts the machine and begins moving it forward along the row.

As the Lettuce Transplanter moves forward, the conveyor belt picks up seedlings from the nursery bed and transports them to the planting mechanism.
